Where the Window to Wellness features a freestanding soaking tub, the Radiant Retreat takes a different approach: a drop-in tub set into a generous surround with a wide deck, built-in comfort seating, and — most strikingly — chromatherapy lighting that bathes the entire alcove in therapeutic color.

Chromatherapy is the use of calibrated colored light to promote physical and emotional well-being. It is not a decorative accent. It is one of the oldest therapeutic practices in recorded history, used by the Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, and Indian cultures for millennia. Different wavelengths of visible light vibrate at specific frequencies and create distinct responses in the body: red stimulates circulation and relieves muscle soreness, orange energizes and lifts mood, yellow supports the nervous system and promotes focus, green calms and restores balance, blue soothes the mind and eases anxiety, and violet promotes deep relaxation and detoxification. Modern chromatherapy systems use digitally controlled LEDs calibrated to these therapeutic frequencies, delivering the benefits through underwater or perimeter lighting that can be set to a constant color, cycled through a sequence, or adjusted to match the bather's mood and need.

When combined with warm water immersion, the effects intensify. Warm water opens the pores, relaxes muscles, improves circulation, and lowers cortisol. The drop-in tub format is itself a deliberate design choice. The wide deck provides a stable, comfortable surface for sitting before sliding into the water — elegant and practical. And the built-in comfort seating at one end of the tub creates an integrated step and seat that supports the bathing experience from entry through immersion to exit.
