Infinity Drain

The Curbless Luxury Shower, Made Possible by a Family of American Plumbing Innovators

There is one specific shower design that has come to define the modern luxury bathroom — and almost every homeowner who has stepped into one immediately wants it in their own home. It's the curbless walk-in shower: an open, threshold-free wet space where the floor of the shower simply continues from the floor of the bathroom, large-format tile runs uninterrupted, and a single elegant linear drain handles all of the water. It looks effortless. It feels effortless. And almost none of it is possible without the small, beautifully engineered linear drain making it work. Infinity Drain is the company that pioneered this category in the United States — and we carry the line at European Kitchen & BathWorks because it's genuinely the brand that turns the most ambitious shower designs into something a builder can actually install.

The story begins in 1909, when Jonathan Brill's great-grandfather, Samuel Stuchiner, opened Simon's Hardware — the first decorative hardware store in the United States. Three generations of plumbing and hardware expertise followed. In 2007, Jonathan launched Infinity Drain to bring genuinely design-centric linear shower drains to the American market — at a time when most luxury builders were still importing inferior products from Europe. Eighteen years later, the company is the recognized U.S. leader in the category, operates a single dedicated manufacturing facility in Long Island, New York, and represents over 115 years of unbroken family expertise in fine plumbing and decorative hardware.

Why It Matters in Your Home. A linear drain — rectangular, slim, beautifully detailed — fundamentally changes what's possible in your shower. The floor pitches in one direction only (rather than the four-way slope a traditional round center drain requires), which means large-format tile can run uninterrupted, curbless designs become possible, and the entire bathroom floor reads as a single continuous surface. The result is the visually expansive, completely barrier-free shower that defines today's most beautiful primary suites — perfectly aligned with our Health & Wellness Spa design language and ideal for anyone planning a forever-home renovation.

The Range. Infinity Drain offers more than 40 decorative grate designs across multiple collections — including the signature Wedge Wire (marine-grade 316L stainless steel V-shaped wires that create the brand's recognizable 'Infinity' look), Perforated, Solid, Slotted, Criss-cross, and the Tile Insert Frame — which allows your shower tile to set directly into the drain itself, making the drain virtually disappear. The patented Site Sizable® technology lets installers cut linear channels to length on-site for non-standard shower widths. The company also produces a fully waterproof Stainless Steel Shower Base backed by a lifetime guarantee against waterproofing failure, plus center drains, custom fabrications, and outdoor drains. Drains can be specified with a Schluter-KERDI factory-applied membrane for clean, single-source waterproofing.
