Crosswater London

A British Standard for the Modern Bathroom

There's a particular feeling you get walking into a well-designed London bathroom. The proportions are right. The tap turns with a satisfying weight. Nothing rattles, nothing leaks, nothing feels cheap. The whole room communicates a quiet confidence - the kind that takes decades of doing one thing exceptionally well.

That's Crosswater London - and it's one of the reasons we made it a cornerstone of our bathroom collection at European Kitchen & BathWorks.

Founded in 1998 by David Hance - who started the company out of the trunk of his car with £30,000 borrowed from family and a hand-drawn logo from his mum - Crosswater has grown into Europe's largest independently-owned bathroom manufacturer. They serve twenty-five countries from a purpose-built facility in the UK, and their specification team carries more than 150 years of combined experience between them. But none of that is what truly sets Crosswater apart.

What sets Crosswater apart is that they only make bathrooms.

Not kitchens. Not patio furniture. Not lighting lines extended from a parent brand. Just bathrooms - and every collection reflects that singular focus. MPRO, the flagship brassware line, is what happens when an engineering team is allowed to perfect the same family of taps and showers over years rather than seasons. Union brings Italian artisan finishing to industrial-inspired forms. Belgravia and Waldorf carry the period homes of London - Edwardian, Art Deco - into bathrooms that need to feel rooted in something. Taos offers the cleaner, more contemporary lines that work beautifully in the open-plan primary suites being built across Buckhead, Brookhaven, and Alpharetta.

For the homeowner, Crosswater is what you choose when you've already lived through one renovation where the fittings looked beautiful on day one and felt loose by year three. These are pieces engineered to outlast the room they're installed in.

For the designer or architect, Crosswater offers something even harder to find: a complete bathroom solution from a single source. Brassware, freestanding tubs (the Winsome, the Leyden, the new Ressa), bathroom furniture, mirrors, accessories - all designed to coordinate, all backed by the same warranty, all available through one purchase order. The specification headaches that come with mixing six brands across one bathroom simply disappear.

EKBW is particularly proud to carry the Ressa Spa Toilet collection, which fits naturally into the Health & Wellness Spa bathrooms we design - bidet functionality, refined proportions, the kind of quiet luxury that elevates a daily ritual into something that genuinely restores you.

The full Crosswater London collection is on display in our Roswell showroom. Turn the handles. Feel the weight. Examine the finishes under real light. It's the only way to understand why a Crosswater tap feels different from the one that looks just like it on someone else's website.
