WATERMARK
The Curated Collection
Watermark
Made in Brooklyn, Designed by Architects
Most luxury plumbing brands tell you where they were inspired. Watermark Designs tells you where every piece is actually made — 350 DeWitt Avenue, Brooklyn, New York — and they've been making them there for over fifty years.
That alone makes them unusual in this category. Watermark is one of the very few luxury faucet companies that designs, manufactures, plates, and finishes every product under one roof, in the United States, in a city most people associate with creative ambition rather than industrial output. Founded in 1972 by the Levy family and now run by third-generation president Avi Abel, the company has grown from a New York plumbing supplier into one of the most respected design-led manufacturers in North America — and a regular collaborator with the architects and interior designers shaping how luxury bathrooms actually look.
Designed by the People Who Specify It. Watermark's collections aren't drawn by an internal styling team trying to guess what designers want. They're drawn by designers. The Brooklyn collection was created with Incorporated Architecture & Design, inspired by mid-century gate valves found in pre-war apartment blocks. Sutton came from a 1930s steam valve discovered in a salvage yard. H-Line was designed with Mark Zeff for a project on the High Line. Elan Vital turns commercial ball-valve hardware into a kitchen and bath collection that still looks ahead of its time a decade later. The result is a catalog with genuine point of view — every range carries a designer's fingerprints, not a marketing committee's.
The Customization Is Real. Watermark offers more than 35 finishes — including unlacquered living finishes that patina with use, knurled and hex-nut handles unlike anything else in the category, and recent Polished Pearl Gold and Satin Pearl Gold PVD additions that pair beautifully with today's warmer kitchen palettes. The new Refinement collection brings sleek, sophisticated forms intended to read in any environment, and the Elements range now ships with marble lever covers in Raven, Bordeaux, and Fawn. The Thea capsule collection delivers timeless silhouettes available in every Watermark finish.
For Designers and Architects, Watermark specifies cleanly across kitchen, bath, shower, and accessories with solid brass construction, ceramic disc cartridges, thermostatic controls, and complete bath suites. Custom finish matching is part of the standard offering — a meaningful advantage on hospitality and high-end residential projects where the fixture needs to coordinate with hardware that doesn't yet exist in any catalog.
