Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a Milanese design sensibility, an in-house manufacturing operation that spans two continents, and a 50-year heritage of producing fixtures for some of the world's leading plumbing brands before launching its own, GRAFF is what happens when serious American manufacturing meets serious Italian design. The company began in the early 1970s as the Meridian International Group of Milwaukee — quietly producing faucets, valves, shower components, and precision machined parts for some of the most prestigious plumbing brands in the world. In the mid-1990s, when most American and European manufacturers were moving production to China, Meridian went the opposite direction: it acquired a historic European plumbing manufacturer that had been making fittings since 1922 in order to keep manufacturing 100% vertically integrated and inside the West. In 2002, after three decades of building fixtures for other people, the company launched its own designer brand: GRAFF. Today, GRAFF produces more than 400 individual products across 25+ collections, all designed in Italy and manufactured in-house, and has become one of the most decorated names in luxury plumbing.
