Solid Stainless, Not Plated Brass. Pick up a chrome faucet from the average showroom and what you're really holding is brass with a thin layer of chrome electroplated on top. Over years of cleaning, water exposure, and ordinary wear, that plating dulls, pits, and eventually flakes. An MGS tap can't do that — there's nothing to wear away, because the finish is the material. Every faucet is hand-polished by specialized artisans in the Gravellona Toce factory before it leaves the building; there is no robotic final pass.

Marine-Grade for Real Life. MGS uses 316-grade stainless steel — the same alloy specified for marine fittings, surgical instruments, and pharmaceutical equipment — dramatically more resistant to corrosion, chlorides, and chemical exposure than the 304 stainless used in most consumer products. MGS was also the first European company certified to NSF61 Annex G, the standard underlying the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act. The steel is completely lead-free and fully recyclable, with roughly 60% recycled content.
